Q. What kind of camera do you use?
A. This is for all the photography savy people out there who are interested in the logistics of my equipment. In my bag, I have a Canon 5D, 85mm f/1.8 usm, 50mm f/2.5 macro, 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 usm, Gary Fong diffuser, & Canon 430EX speedlight flash. I take all of my photographs in RAW format. I primarily use Lightroom and occasionally Photoshop, Gimp, and Picasa to organize and edit all photos. I also utilize some Lightroom RAW presets created by NicoleVann to enhance photographs. If you want more details, feel free to ask.
Q. How long have you been taking photos?
A.I took a photography class in high school, and it soon became a fun hobby. I enjoyed taking pictures on my travels to Europe and of course, of my children. It was always a dream of mine to do it professionally.
I had my first professional photo shoot in the fall of 2006. I've been steadily building business since then. I am a strictly self-taught photographer. I am continually learning how to create better pictures by reading and incorporating the advice of my photographer colleagues.
